Fri - Sun Feb 7 - 9 McCauley Mountain Winter Carnival - McCauley Mountain Winter Carnival. Enjoy a parade down Main Street in Old Forge, followed by an ice skating party. The coronation of the King and Queen will be held at McCauley Mountain, followed by torchlight skiing, dare-devil jumpers & fireworks. After the fireworks, the community is invited to a dance in the chalet.
Sat Feb 8 2020 New York Snow Run - Open to men and women! A pledge raising event to help men and women battling breast cancer. A day filled with lots of fun! Come as an adult but have kid fun! Tues Feb 11 Sweetheart Dessert Contest - 6:30pm at the Old Forge Library. Create your favorite dessert and bring it to the library between 11am - 2pm to win the honors of best dessert in town! The Friends of the Library invite the community to stop in to sample the delicious entries. Judging the contest will be representatives from Ozzie’s Coffee Bar, Walt’s Diner and Dough a Deer Bakery.
Sat Feb 15 14th Annual Chili Bowl Luncheon - 12pm - 3pm at VIEW. VIEW will be serving over a dozen chilis and soups made by local restaurants, with a variety of desserts made by our wonderful volunteers. Choose from a variety of beautiful, handcrafted, ceramic bowls created by our talented local and regional potters for your chili. View's volunteers are preparing to put on another great event.There is already a lot of buzz and excitement going around about Chili Bowl! Wed Feb 19 Music Performance by Amber Nadine - 5:30pm at the Old Forge Library. Amber Nadine describes her music as country pop. She typically performs solo, focusing on guitar and vocals. While singing has always been a part of her life, writing music only took root after she graduated from high school. She plays out regularly in Central Pennsylvania where she grew up.
